| 1 | | Offender Supervision Fund shall

| 3 | | Section 10. The Unified Code of Corrections is amended by |
| 4 | | adding Section 5-9-1.20 as follows: |
| 5 | | (730 ILCS 5/5-9-1.20 new) |
| 6 | | Sec. 5-9-1.20. Additional violation of parole fines. In |
| 7 | | addition to
any other penalty imposed, a fine of $25 shall be |
| 8 | | imposed upon
a person convicted of any violation of the |
| 9 | | Criminal Code of
1961 who was, at the time of the commission of |
| 10 | | the offense on parole or mandatory supervised release. Such |
| 11 | | additional
fine shall be assessed by the court imposing |
| 12 | | sentence and shall
be collected by the circuit clerk. Of this |
| 13 | | fine, $5 shall be
deposited into the Circuit Court Clerk |
| 14 | | Operation and
Administrative Fund created by the Clerk of the |
| 15 | | Circuit Court
to be used to offset the costs incurred by the |
| 16 | | Circuit Court
Clerk in performing the additional duties |
| 17 | | required to collect
and disburse funds as provided by law. The |
| 18 | | remainder of each such additional
fine shall be remitted by the |
| 19 | | Circuit Court Clerk within one
month after receipt to the State |
| 20 | | Treasurer for deposit into the Illinois Department of |
| 21 | | Corrections Parole Division Offender Supervision Fund in the |
| 22 | | State treasury.

| 23 | | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
| 24 | | becoming law.
