| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Department of Labor Law of the
Civil |
| 5 | | Administrative Code of Illinois is amended by adding Section |
| 6 | | 1505-210 as follows:

| 8 | | Sec. 1505-210. Funds. The Department has the authority to |
| 9 | | apply for, accept, receive, expend, and administer on behalf of |
| 10 | | the State any grants, gifts, bequests, loans, indirect cost |
| 11 | | reimbursements, funds, or anything else of value made available |
| 12 | | to the Department from any source for assistance with outreach |
| 13 | | activities related to the Department's enforcement efforts and |
| 14 | | staffing assistance for boards and commissions under the |
| 15 | | preview of the Department. Any federal funds received by the |
| 16 | | Department pursuant to this Section shall be deposited in a |
| 17 | | trust fund with the State Treasurer and held and disbursed by |
| 18 | | him or her in accordance with the Treasurer as Custodian of |
| 19 | | Funds Act, provided that such moneys shall be used only for the |
| 20 | | purposes for which they are contributed and any balance |
| 21 | | remaining shall be returned to the contributor. The Department |
| 22 | | is authorized to promulgate such rules and enter into such |
| 23 | | contracts as it may deem necessary in carrying out the |
