| 4 | | "Section 5. The State Property Control Act is amended by |
| 5 | | adding Section 7d as follows:

| 6 | | (30 ILCS 605/7d new) |
| 7 | | Sec. 7d. Donated property. Notwithstanding any other |
| 8 | | provision of this Act, the Department of Veterans' Affairs may |
| 9 | | transfer any property under $100 in value that was donated to |
| 10 | | the Department for the explicit benefit of the residents of |
| 11 | | facilities operated by the Department under the Nursing Home |
| 12 | | Care Act to any civic organization.

| 13 | | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
| 14 | | becoming law.".
