| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Department of Revenue Law of the
Civil |
| 5 | | Administrative Code of Illinois is amended by adding Section |
| 6 | | 2505-755 as follows:
|

| 8 | | Sec. 2505-755. Municipal report. The Department shall make |
| 9 | | available to any municipality of the State, upon request of the |
| 10 | | corporate authorities of the municipality, information |
| 11 | | concerning proceeds collected from businesses located within |
| 12 | | that municipality under the Retailers' Occupation Tax Act, the |
| 13 | | Service Occupation Tax Act, or as a result of any occupation |
| 14 | | tax imposed by the municipality and administered by the |
| 15 | | Department. The Department is authorized to release the name of |
| 16 | | the business and the total amount collected from that business |
| 17 | | in the 12 calendar months immediately preceding the date of the |
| 18 | | request as a result of sales occurring in the municipality. The |
| 19 | | information must be presented to the municipality within 15 |
| 20 | | days after the date of the request. The municipality may use |
| 21 | | the information only for its official purposes and may not make |
| 22 | | the information available to the public.
