| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,

| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Illinois Municipal Code is amended by adding |
| 5 | | Section 11-5-10 as follows:

| 7 | | Sec. 11-5-10. Sound devices. The corporate authorities of a |
| 8 | | municipality may, by ordinance, regulate sound devices. For the |
| 9 | | purposes of this Section, "sound devices" means any radio, tape |
| 10 | | recorder, cassette player, or any other device for receiving |
| 11 | | broadcast sound or reproducing recorded sound.
