| 5 | | "Section 3. The State Commemorative Dates Act is amended by |

| 8 | | Sec. 165. Purple Heart Day. The 7th day of August of each |
| 9 | | year is designated Purple Heart Day to be observed as a day to |
| 10 | | honor and remember those who have been wounded or killed in |
| 11 | | battle.".
