AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1576 




2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 1576 as follows:


 
3on page 7, immediately below line 18, by inserting the 
4following:
5    "Notwithstanding any other provision of this subsection 
6(a), this Section does not apply to a municipality with more 
7than 1,000,000 inhabitants."; and
 
8on page 10, lines 7 through 8, by deleting "(other than a 
9municipality that has more than 1,000,000 inhabitants)"; and
 
10on page 11, line 14, by deleting "having a population of less 
11than 1,000,000"; and
 
12on page 33, immediately below line 11, by inserting the 
13following:
14    "(l) Applicability. This Section does not apply to a

1municipality with more than 1,000,000 inhabitants."; and
 
2on page 40, immediately below line 14, by inserting the 
3following:
