AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1848 




2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 1848, AS AMENDED, 
3with reference to page and line numbers of House Amendment No. 
41, as follows:


 
5on page 5, line 19, after "143,", by inserting "Posen-Robbins 
6Elementary School District 143-5,"; and
 
7on page 5, line 21, by deleting "and"; and
 
8on page 5, line 21, after "228", by inserting ", and the 
9Southwest Cook County Cooperative Association for Special 
10Education"; and 
 
11on page 6, line 17, after the period, by inserting "If the 
12school boards of all school districts withdraw from the 
13jurisdiction and authority of the trustees of schools of Bremen 
14Township and the township treasurer, then the offices of such

1trustees and treasurer shall be deemed abolished by operation 
2of law beginning on January 1 of the calendar year immediately 
3following the calendar year in which the last school board to 
4withdraw passes its resolution of withdrawal."; and
 
5on page 16, immediately below line 15, by inserting the 
6following:
7    "In addition and in the alternative, the offices of 
8township treasurer and trustees of schools in Bremen Township 
9may be abolished by operation of law as provided in subsection 
10(b) of this Section.".
