2 AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 2086 as follows:

3 on page 2, line 2, after "expulsion", by inserting ", except in

4 cases in which such transfer is deemed to cause a threat to the

5 safety of students or staff in the alternative program"; and

6 on page 3, line 8, after "suspension", by inserting ", except

7 in cases in which such transfer is deemed to cause a threat to

8 the safety of students or staff in the alternative program";

9 and

10 on page 6, line 2, after "district", by inserting "if there is

11 no threat to the safety of students or staff in the alternative

12 program"; and

13 on page 7, line 23, after "expulsion", by inserting ", except

14 in cases in which such transfer is deemed to cause a threat to
