| 4 | | "Section 5. The Counties Code is amended by adding Section |
| 5 | | 5-1133 as follows:

| 6 | | (55 ILCS 5/5-1133 new) |
| 7 | | Sec. 5-1133. Administrative tow fees. A county with a |
| 8 | | population of more than 600,000 that has adopted a system of |
| 9 | | administrative adjudication may collect a reasonable |
| 10 | | administrative tow fee. The fee shall be deposited into the |
| 11 | | county's general fund for payment of costs incurred by the |
| 12 | | sheriff in towing a vehicle.

| 13 | | Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon |
| 14 | | becoming law.".
