| 2 | | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 3131 on page 3 by |
| 3 | | replacing lines 16 through 23 with the following: |
| 4 | | "(c) The public body conducting a meeting must take |
| 5 | | reasonable steps to ensure that a copy of the notice and agenda |
| 6 | | required to be posted under this Section is continuously |
| 7 | | available for public review during the entire 48-hour period |
| 8 | | preceding the meeting. Publication of the notice and agenda on |
| 9 | | a website that is maintained by the public body satisfies the |
| 10 | | requirement for continuous posting under this subsection (c). |
| 11 | | If a notice or agenda is not continuously available for the |
| 12 | | full 48-hour period due to actions outside of the control of |
| 13 | | the public body, then that lack of availability does not |
| 14 | | invalidate any meeting or action taken at a meeting.".
