AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 4456 




2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 4456, AS AMENDED, 
3with reference to page and line numbers of House Amendment No. 
41, on page 5, by replacing lines 10 through 17 with the 
5following:
6    "(a-5) Each applicant for a Firearm Owner's Identification 
7Card who is over
the age of 18 shall furnish to the Department 
8of State Police either his or
her Illinois driver's license 
9number or Illinois Identification Card number, except as 
10provided in subsection (a-10).

11    (a-10) Each applicant for a Firearm Owner's Identification 
12Card,
who is employed as a law enforcement officer, an armed 
13security officer in Illinois, or by the United States Military 
14permanently assigned in Illinois at a nuclear energy,
storage, 
15weapons, or development facility regulated by the Nuclear

16Regulatory Commission and who is not an Illinois"; and 


 
17on page 9, line 11, by inserting after "Illinois" the

2", except as provided in subsection (a-10) of Section 4"; and
 
3on page 11, by replacing lines 6 through 8 with the following:
4"shall not issue the order if the petitioner is otherwise
