AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 5332 




2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 5332 on page 3, line 
37, after "determine", by inserting "reasonable restrictions 
4on"; and
 


5on page 3, line 8, by replacing "120" with "45"; and
 
6on page 3, line 14, after "(i)", by inserting "reasonable 
7restrictions on"; and
 


8on page 3, line 18, after "so,", by inserting "reasonable 
9restrictions on"; and
 


10on page 3, line 24, after "policies.", by inserting the 
11following:


12"For purposes of this Section, "reasonable restrictions" are 
13limitations that do not significantly increase the cost of the 
14electric vehicle charging system or significantly decrease its

1efficiency or specified performance."; and


 
2on page 4, line 8, by replacing "90" with "30"; and
 


3on page 4, by replacing lines 11 and 12 with the following:


4"association, the association has until the longer of the 
5following 2 periods to process the application: (1) 15 days 
6after a policy is adopted in accordance with Section 20 of this 
7Act or (2) 30 days after the application is submitted.  If an 
8application is not denied in writing before the end of the 
9applicable time period provided by this Section, the 
10application shall be deemed approved, unless that delay is the 
11result of a reasonable request for additional information.".
