| 2 | | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend House Bill 5504 on page 6, line |
| 3 | | 5, after "interests.", by inserting "The proposed resolution |
| 4 | | that authorizes the termination, transfer, lease, or other |
| 5 | | disposition shall include a statement of the amount of debt |
| 6 | | owed on the facility."; and

| 7 | | on page 6, by replacing lines 22 through 24 with "county board |
| 8 | | may find desirable or necessary, for 10 years or until the |
| 9 | | amount of debt owed on the facility, as stated in the |
| 10 | | authorizing resolution, is repaid in full, whichever is sooner. |
| 11 | | Regardless of whether the county elects to continue to operate |
| 12 | | and maintain its sheltered care or nursing home facilities, the |
| 13 | | ability to levy a tax authorized under paragraph 8 may continue |
| 14 | | for 10 years or until the amount of debt owed on the facility, |
| 15 | | as stated in the authorizing resolution, is repaid in full, |
| 16 | | whichever is sooner. The county may be paid or".
