| 2 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 3 | | NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, THE |
| 4 | | SENATE CONCURRING HEREIN, that the Joint Task Force on Turkish |
| 5 | | and Illinois Relations is created; and be it further

| 6 | | RESOLVED, That the Task Force shall consist of the |
| 7 | | following members:
|
| 8 | | (1) two members appointed by the Speaker of the House |
| 9 | | of Representatives, one of whom shall be a co-chair; |
| 10 | | (2) two members appointed by the President of the |
| 11 | | Senate, one of whom shall be a co-chair; |
| 12 | | (3) two members appointed by the Minority Leader of the |
| 13 | | House of Representatives; |
| 14 | | (4) two members appointed by the Minority Leader of the |
| 15 | | Senate; and |
| 16 | | (5) any other member of the General Assembly who wishes |
| 17 | | to participate, to be appointed by the presiding officer of |
| 18 | | that member's chamber; and be it further
|
| 19 | | RESOLVED, That the Task Force is charged with strengthening |
| 20 | | and continuing the State's friendship, business, and cultural |
| 21 | | ties with the Republic of Turkey.
