2 AMENDMENT NO. ___. Amend House Joint Resolution 68 by

3 replacing page 1, line 2 through page 2, line 17, with the

4 following:

5 "WHEREAS, Under subsection (b) of Section 2 of Article VIII

6 of the Illinois Constitution, appropriations for a fiscal year

7 shall not exceed funds estimated by the General Assembly to be

8 available during that year; therefore, be it

9 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE

10 NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, THE

11 SENATE CONCURRING HEREIN, that the General Assembly estimates

12 the general funds to be available during State fiscal year 2013
