HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are saddened to  learn of the death of
Deanna 
4Rivers Green, who passed away on February 13, 2011; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Deanna Green was born and raised in the south 
6suburbs and attended Homewood Flossmoor High School; she 
7accepted Christ at an early age; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Deanna Green had a passion for helping people that 
9was demonstrated through her career as a registered nurse; she 
10served as the Director at Manor Care Health Services in 
11Homewood; she also worked for a former U.S. Congressman and was 
12an important part of the success of many State and local 
13officials; and
  
 
14    WHEREAS, Deanna Green was a member of St. Paul Community 
15Church; and

  
 
16    WHEREAS, Deanna Green was the beloved wife of Shannon 
17Green; together, the couple had four children, Danielle, 
18John-Michael, Shannon Jr., and Shane; she is also survived by 
19her parents and her grandmother, Minerva Rivers; therefore, be

1    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
2NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
3we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of 
4Deanna Rivers Green; and be it further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to the family of Deanna Green as an expression of our 
7sympathy.
