| 1 | | HOUSE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 | | WHEREAS, Local communities are facing a budget crisis for |
| 3 | | critical services; and
|
| 4 | | WHEREAS, The Illinois Emergency Management Agency |
| 5 | | determines the amount of funding available for the Emergency |
| 6 | | Management Agency grant program prior to the award of any |
| 7 | | grants, based on the level of funding provided by the Federal |
| 8 | | Emergency Management Agency; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Some local communities receive very little |
| 10 | | compensation from this grant; therefore, be it
|
| 11 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 12 | | NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 13 | | the Illinois Emergency Management Agency examine the way it |
| 14 | | distributes these funds to insure equitable distribution of the |
| 15 | | funds; and be it further
|
| 16 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 17 | | presented to the Illinois Emergency Management Agency.
