HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, Since 2003, Dr. Joseph E. Nyre has served as the 
3President and Chief Executive Officer of The Hope Institute for 
4Children and Families; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, During his tenure at The Hope Institute, Dr. Nyre 
6has transformed both that organization and the way in which 
7services are provided to children with cognitive disorders, 
8particularly those with multiple disabilities; and


  
 
9    WHEREAS, Dr. Nyre has expanded the programmatic offerings 
10of The Hope Institute through the expansion of living, 
11learning, and health programs, growth of The Autism Program of 
12Illinois into the nation's largest statewide network for autism 
13services and support, creation of the Noll Medical Pavilion, 
14and the opening of The Hope Institute Learning Academy in 
15Chicago; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Through his many efforts, Dr. Nyre has touched the 
17lives of children and families from Rockford to Cairo and 
18improved the delivery of care for generations to come; 
19therefore, be it
  
 
20    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
21NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that

1we congratulate Dr. Nyre on his many accomplishments and wish 
2him the best in all his future endeavors; and be it further
  
 
3    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
4presented to Dr. Joseph E. Nyre as a symbol of our respect and 
5esteem.
