| 1 | | HOUSE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 | | WHEREAS, State agencies play a vital role in providing |
| 3 | | services to those in need; and
|
| 4 | | WHEREAS, Many residents are unaware of the services that |
| 5 | | may be available to them or are unable to access those |
| 6 | | services; and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Information about State services should be widely |
| 8 | | available and easy to access; therefore, be it
|
| 9 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 10 | | NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 11 | | we urge each State agency to review its methods of |
| 12 | | disseminating information to the public about State services |
| 13 | | and to implement more efficient practices of providing that |
| 14 | | information where possible; and be it further
|
| 15 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 16 | | presented to each director of a State agency under the |
| 17 | | direction and control of the Governor.
