HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of  
3Representatives are pleased to honor DeAnn Glover for her many 
4years of service as a Buffalo Grove Village Trustee; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, DeAnn Glover was elected to serve as a Buffalo 
6Grove Village Trustee on April 4, 1995; she served the people 
7of Buffalo Grove faithfully until the expiration of her last 
8term on April 30, 2011; she also served as a member of the 
9Buffalo Grove Rotary Club and a member of the Buffalo Grove 
10Area Chamber of Commerce during her tenure; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, While on the Buffalo Grove Board of Trustees, 
12DeAnn Glover was instrumental in the development of numerous 
13improvements in the Village of Buffalo Grove, including the 
14development of the Buffalo Grove Metra Station and the second 
15track, which provides additional rail service to the Buffalo 
16Grove area, the construction and development of the Buffalo 
17Grove Arboretum Golf Club and banquet facility, and the 
18fostering of intergovernmental cooperation by the Village of 
19Buffalo Grove with many community organizations and government 
20partners; and
  
 
21    WHEREAS, DeAnn Glover served as a Buffalo Grove Days 
22Trustee Liaison for 14 years; she was involved in all facets of

1the celebration, including entertainment, carnival, fireworks, 
2arts and crafts, and youth programs, among many others; she 
3also served as a liaison to the Village's Zoning Board of 
4Appeals, Cable Committee, and Library; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, DeAnn Glover is employed as a Broker/Manager and 
6ReMax Expert in Buffalo Grove; she is a member of Hope Lutheran 
7Church and the Buffalo Grove Rotary Club; and
 
8    WHEREAS, DeAnn Glover is the loving mother of two children 
9and the grandmother of three grandchildren; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, DeAnn Glover serves as a model of hard work, 
11integrity, and dedication for the people of the State of 
12Illinois; therefore, be it
  
 
13    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
14NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
15we honor DeAnn Glover for her many years of service as a 
16Buffalo Grove Village Trustee and wish her continued success 
17and happiness in the future; and be it further
  
 
18    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
19presented to DeAnn Glover as a symbol of our esteem and 
20respect.
