| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 | | Representatives are pleased to congratulate the Village of |
| 4 | | Glencoe on the occasion of winning the 17th annual Water Taste |
| 5 | | Contest during the Illinois Section American Water Works Annual |
| 6 | | Conference; and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, The Water Taste Contest was held on March 22, |
| 8 | | 2011; the judges based their decision on the water's clarity, |
| 9 | | odor, and taste; and
|
| 10 | | WHEREAS, The Village of Glencoe now plans to enter the |
| 11 | | national water tasting contest, which will be held in June of |
| 12 | | 2011; therefore, be it
|
| 13 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 14 | | NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 15 | | we congratulate the Village of Glencoe on the occasion of |
| 16 | | winning the 17th annual Water Taste Contest and wish it |
| 17 | | continued success in the future; and be it further

| 18 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 19 | | presented to Glencoe Village Manager Paul M. Harlow as a symbol |
| 20 | | of our esteem and respect.
