HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are pleased to congratulate the 
4administration, teachers, and students of Waubonsie Valley 
5High School on the occasion of being selected as a Grammy 
6Signature Gold School for 2011; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, The Grammy Signature Gold Schools designation 
8recognizes top music education programs at United States public 
9high schools; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, As a Grammy Signature Gold School, Waubonsie 
11Valley High School will receive $5,500 to benefit the school's 
12music program; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Waubonsie Valley High School has received the 
14Grammy Signature Gold School designation an astounding seven 
15times; and

  
 
16    WHEREAS, Waubonsie Valley High School will receive the 
17Grammy Signature Gold School award at an event on May 21, 2011; 
18therefore, be it
  
 
19    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
20NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that

1we congratulate the administration, teachers, and students of 
2Waubonsie Valley High School on the occasion of being selected
