HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are pleased to congratulate the administration 
4and employees of Hearthstone Communities on the occasion of the 
5organization's 125th anniversary; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Hearthstone Communities is a faith-based 
7charitable organization that has served the people of northern 
8Illinois since 1886; the organization's mission is to offer 
9hope, healing, and purposeful living to older adults and 
10children in the context of Christian communities; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, Hearthstone Communities employees are encouraged 
12to approach their work assignments as much more than a job and 
13stress the values of Passionate Care, Responsiveness, Extra 
14Mile
Service, Integrity, and being Family Oriented; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Hearthstone Communities operates the Hearthstone 
16Senior Living Community, a continuing care retirement 
17community for over 200 seniors; the community features 
18independent and assisted living, Alzheimer's disease and 
19dementia care, skilled nursing care, and Medicare 
20Certification programs; and

  
 
21    WHEREAS, Hearthstone Communities will celebrate the 125th

1anniversary of the organization with an evening of celebration 
2and remembrance at the Woodstock Opera House on June 4, 2011; 
3therefore, be it
  
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
5NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
6we congratulate the administration and employees of 
7Hearthstone Communities on the occasion of the organization's 
8125th anniversary and wish them continued success and happiness 
9in the future; and be it further
  
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
11presented to Hearthstone Communities as a symbol of our esteem 
12and respect.
