| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 | | Representatives are pleased to congratulate Mike Hamlin on his |
| 4 | | retirement from the West Chicago Fire Protection District; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, He joined the District in 1971 as a Paid on Call |
| 6 | | Fireman; in
1974, he became a Registered EMT-A; in
1975, he |
| 7 | | completed Certified Firefighter Courses; and in 1976, he was |
| 8 | | hired as a full-time career firefighter; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, In
1980, he was promoted to Lieutenant; in 1986, |
| 10 | | he completed Firefighter II
training, and he completed |
| 11 | | Firefighter III
training in 1989; from 1991-2001
he served as a |
| 12 | | Safety Officer; and
|
| 13 | | WHEREAS, He will be retiring on June 30, 2011; therefore, |
| 14 | | be it
|
| 15 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 16 | | NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 17 | | we congratulate Mike Hamlin on his retirement and thank him for |
| 18 | | his years of service as a Firefighter; and be it further
|
| 19 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 20 | | presented to Mike Hamlin as a symbol of our respect and esteem.
