HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are pleased to congratulate Matthew Lawrence 
4Pasik on the occasion of attaining the coveted rank of Eagle 
5Scout; and
  
 

  
6    WHEREAS, Matthew serves with Troop 297 in Hoffman Estates; 
7his mother is Grace Pasik; and
 
8    WHEREAS, To achieve the rank of Eagle Scout, Matthew Pasik 
9worked on the Summit View Christian Church in Hoffman Estates, 
10fixing the ceiling and plumbing problems the church experienced 
11after a storm; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, The rank of Eagle Scout will be bestowed upon 
13Matthew Pasik by the Boy Scouts of America at a Court of Honor 
14ceremony on June 18, 2011; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, Matthew Pasik serves as a model of hard work, 
16integrity, and dedication for the people of the State of 
17Illinois; therefore, be it
  
 
18    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
19NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
20we congratulate Matthew Pasik on the occasion of attaining the

1coveted rank of Eagle Scout and wish him continued success and 
2happiness in the future; and be it further
