HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are pleased to congratulate the members of the 
4Teutopolis Wooden Shoes baseball team on the occasion of 
5winning the IHSA Class 2A State Baseball Tournament; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Ably led by senior pitcher Derek Thompson, the 
7Teutopolis Wooden Shoes defeated the Melrose Park-Walter 
8Lutheran Broncos 4-0 to claim victory at the IHSA Class 2A 
9State Baseball Tournament; the team ended their season with a 
10phenomenal 33-2 record; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, The members of the Teutopolis Wooden Shoes are 
12Derek Repking, Derek Thompson, Jordan Roepke, Damon Hoene, Bo 
13Blievernicht, Dillon Hardiek, Brock Swingler, Cole Borries, 
14Garrett Overbeck, Brandon Hemmen, Mark Niebrugge, Dylan 
15Niebrugge, Eric Oseland, Mitch McMahon, Brandon Pals, Zack 
16Repking, Nick Kreke, Kyle Pruemer, Jared Waldhoff, Chase 
17Wending, and Derek Smith; the team's head coach is Justin 
18Fleener and the assistant coaches are Rob Bothwell, Michael 
19Buening, Jordan Pals, and Troy Bierman; and

  
 
20    WHEREAS, The members of the Teutopolis Wooden Shoes serve 
21as models of hard work, integrity, and dedication for the 
22people of the State of Illinois; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
2NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
3we congratulate the members of the Teutopolis Wooden Shoes 
4baseball team on their victory and wish them continued success 
5and happiness in the future; and be it further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to Teutopolis Wooden Shoes head coach Justin Fleener 
8as a symbol of our esteem and respect.
