| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 | | Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of
Ryan |
| 4 | | Royall of Country Club Hills; and
|
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Ryan Royall had just finished his junior year at |
| 6 | | Hillcrest High School, where he was a standout guard for the |
| 7 | | school's basketball team and earned All-Conference honors last |
| 8 | | season; he also played on a summer league team; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Ryan Royall was seeking an athletic scholarship so |
| 10 | | his mother would not have to worry about paying for his college |
| 11 | | education; he sought to have a career in the NBA and attain a |
| 12 | | degree in sports medicine; and
|
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Ryan Royall will be remembered by all who knew and |
| 14 | | loved him as a hard-working and friendly young man who was wise |
| 15 | | beyond his years; therefore, be it
|
| 16 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 17 | | NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 18 | | we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of |
| 19 | | Ryan Royall; and be it further
