HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are pleased to congratulate Bill and Sue Bell 
4on the occasion of their 50th wedding anniversary on June 24, 
52011; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Bill and Sue Bell were married on June 24, 1961; 
7and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Bill and Sue Bell both graduated from Northwestern 
9Illinois University and remain loyal Wildcat fans; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Bill and Sue Bell both served as Park Ridge 
11Aldermen and have helped shape the future of Park Ridge; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, Sue Bell served as a Legislative Aid to 
13Representative Rosemary Mulligan and remains a proud 
14supporter; and
 
15    WHEREAS, In addition to serving as Park Ridge Alderman, 
16Bill Bell has served as a Maine Township Trustee and a member 
17of the School District 64 Board and is currently serving on the 
18Board of the Maine Center for Mental Health; he also served in 
19the United States Marine Corps; and

1    WHEREAS, Bill and Sue Bell will celebrate this momentous 
2occasion with their children, Lisa, Julie, Becky, and David, 
3with the hope of many more years filled with laughter and love; 
4therefore, be it
  
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
6NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
7we congratulate Bill and Sue Bell on the occasion of their 50th 
8wedding anniversary and wish them continued happiness for years 
9to come; and be it further
  
 
10    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
11presented to Bill and Sue Bell as a symbol of our respect and 
12esteem.
