HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are saddened to  learn of the death of
United 
4States Army Sergeant First Class David G. Robinson of Winthrop 
5Harbor; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, SFC David Robinson attended St. Joseph High School 
7in Kenosha; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, SFC David Robinson served his country with pride 
9and distinction as a member of the United States Army; he was 
10assigned to the Security Assistance Organization in Saudi 
11Arabia's United States Military Training Mission at the time of 
12his passing; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, SFC David Robinson was a Cub Scout and Boy Scout; 
14he enjoyed camping, canoeing, watching the Chicago Bears and 
15Chicago Cubs, and playing golf and college fantasy football; 
16and
  
 
17    WHEREAS, SFC David Robinson was preceded in death by his 
18brother, Joseph; and
 
19    WHEREAS, SFC David Robinson is survived by his wife, Emily; 
20his children, Matthew and Jackson; his parents, Dennis

1Robinson, and his wife, Marijo; and his brothers, Greg and 
2Michael; and
  
 
3    WHEREAS, SFC David Robinson's patriotism and courage will 
4be remembered fondly by his loving family, his fellow soldiers, 
5and the citizens of our grateful nation; therefore, be it
  
 
6    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
7NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
8we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of 
9United States Army Sergeant First Class David G. Robinson; and 
10be it further
  
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
12presented to the family of SFC David Robinson as an expression 
13of our sympathy.
