HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are pleased to congratulate the Benet Academy 
4Girls Volleyball team on winning the Class 4A State 
5Championship; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Benet Academy, established in 1887, is a 
7four-year, college preparatory, Catholic high school located 
8in Lisle; and
  
 
9    WHEREAS, The 2011 Benet Academy Girls Volleyball team 
10enjoyed a very successful season with a record of 39 wins and 
11only 3 losses; and
 
12    WHEREAS, On November 12, 2011, at Redbird Arena in Normal, 
13the Benet Volleyball team defeated Cary-Grove in a best of 3 
14game series to take home the Class 4A State Championship; and
  
 
  
15    WHEREAS, The team is led by Head Coach Brad Baker,

6we congratulate the Benet Academy Girls Volleyball team on 
7winning the Class 4A State Championship and wish them the best 
8in their future endeavors; and be it further
  
 
9    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
10presented to the Benet Academy Girls Volleyball team as a 
11symbol of our respect and esteem.
