HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are pleased to congratulate Eugene Tabour on 
4his retirement as a Trustee for the Evergreen Park Public 
5Library Board; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, He retired from the Board in October of 2011; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, He served 6 years in the United States Air Force 
8Military Police, including serving during the United Nations 
9action in the Belgian Congo and Lebanon; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, He is the proud father of 2 Eagle Scouts, Justin 
11Tabour and Jason Tabour, who formerly served as the Evergreen 
12Park Public Library Board President; and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, He is retired as a District Sales Manager of 
14Industrial Steel; he is a lifetime member of the Calumet Yacht 
15Club; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, As a Trustee for the Evergreen Park Public Library 
17Board, he was a vital part of the planning and oversight of the 
18Library expansion and renovation project in 2006 and 2007; he 
19served from 1989 to 2011, holding positions as Vice President 
20and Treasurer; therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
2NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
3we congratulate Eugene Tabour on his retirement and wish him 
4the best in all his future endeavors; and be it further
  
 
5    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
6presented to Eugene Tabour as a symbol of our respect and 
7esteem.
