HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are pleased to honor the members of Cub Scout 
4Pack 13 on their many accomplishments; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, The members of Cub Scout Pack 13 have reached the 
6end of their Cub Scout journey and are about to embark on a new 
7journey with their new Boy Scout troop; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, The American Legion will sponsor an annual Blue 
9and Gold Celebration to honor Cub Scout Pack 13 and their 
10accomplishments on February 26, 2012; and
  
 
11    WHEREAS, The Blue and Gold Celebration will also celebrate 
12102 years of Boy Scouting in America; and

  
 
13    WHEREAS, The Blue and Gold Celebration will include a 
14presentation of scouting traditions by Webelos II Scouts; 
15therefore, be it
  
 
16    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
17NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
18we congratulate the members of Cub Scout Pack 13 for being an 
19example to other young men in their community and for shining 
20as Cub Scouts in both word and deed, and wish them luck in

1their future endeavors as Boy Scouts; and be it further
  
 
2    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
3presented to Cub Scout Pack 13 as a symbol of our respect and 
4esteem.
