HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are pleased to congratulate  the St. Edward 
4School boys football team, the Big Red, on winning the 
5Northwest Catholic Conference Championship; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, The Big Red finished the season with a record of 
77-1; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, The team beat St. Juliana 16-0 in the playoff game 
9and Immaculate Conception 26-7 in the championship game; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, It was the first time since 1981 that St. Edward 
11had won the Northwest Catholic Conference Championship; and
  
 
12    WHEREAS, The Head Coach is Michael Kelly; the Assistant 
13Coaches are: Kevin Pietruszka, Chris Cusack, Eric Beck, and Joe 
14Kelly; and
  
 
15    WHEREAS, The members of the team are: Sam Asplund, Jack 
16Loper, Jayson Nowak, Matt Scanlan, Collin Bergin, Jonah Isaac, 
17Dylan Gilbert, Edgardo Jove, Connor McDermott, Connor 
18Callahan,
Daniel Salgado, Jacob Whiting, Cole Kerins, Reis 
19O'Donnell, Liam Mulcrone, Jared Whiting, Frank Doherty, Omaar
