HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are pleased to congratulate the members of the 
4Quincy Notre Dame Lady Raiders girls basketball team for 
5winning their second consecutive  IHSA Class 2A State title on 
6February 25, 2012; and
  
 
7    WHEREAS, The Lady Raiders defeated Breese Central 62-31 to 
8secure victory; the team ended the season with an impressive 
933-1 record; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, The members of the Quincy Notre Dame Lady Raiders 
11girls basketball team are Arianna Rigg, Shannon Foley, Kristen 
12Gengenbacher, Bailey Gengenbacher, Abby Grawe, Gracie Barnes, 
13Emily Arnold, Kate Gengenbacher, Kassidy Gengenbacher, Hannah 
14Marcolla, Tori Kuhn, Jordan Frericks, Mary Beth Hugenberg, 
15Molly Waterkotte, Holly Dix, Cassidy Foley, and Morgan Martin; 
16the team's head coach is Eric Orne and the assistant coaches 
17are Kevin Meyer and Mark Longo; and

  
 
18    WHEREAS, The student assistants are Maddison Ervin, Holly 
19Dix, Maggie Schwartz, and Quenna Keating; the scorekeepers are 
20Beth Cash, Ray Weast, David Adam, and Rob Arnold; sports 
21information is provided by Frank Cash; and the trainer is Jay 
22Zanger; and

1    WHEREAS, The members of the Quincy Notre Dame Lady Raiders 
2girls basketball team serve as models of hard work, integrity, 
3and dedication for the people of the State of Illinois; 
4therefore, be it
  
 
5    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
6NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
7we congratulate the members of the Quincy Notre Dame Lady 
8Raiders girls basketball team for winning the IHSA Class 2A 
9State title and wish them continued success and happiness in 
10the future; and be it further
  
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
12presented to the Quincy Notre Dame Lady Raiders girls 
13basketball team as a symbol of our esteem and respect.
