| 1 | | HOUSE RESOLUTION
|
| 2 | | WHEREAS, It is the intent and policy of the State of |
| 3 | | Illinois that every student, regardless of the economic or |
| 4 | | social circumstances and regardless of the school to which the |
| 5 | | student is assigned, has the right to the same level of |
| 6 | | educational services as every other student in the State, to |
| 7 | | the extent allowed by State funds; therefore, be it
|
| 8 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 9 | | NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 10 | | we urge the administration of Chicago Public School District |
| 11 | | 299 to allocate equal funding for each student, regardless of |
| 12 | | where that student attends school; and be it further
|
| 13 | | RESOLVED, That suitable copies of this resolution be |
| 14 | | presented to the Governor, the State Superintendent of |
| 15 | | Education, and the Executive Officer of Chicago Public Schools |
| 16 | | District 299.
