HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are pleased to congratulate the members of the 
4Aquin Bulldogs girls basketball team on the occasion of winning 
5the IHSA Class 1A State tournament; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, The Aquin Bulldogs defeated 
7Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City 61-51 to win the IHSA Class 1A 
8State tournament; the team ended their season with an 
9incredible 32-4 record; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, The members of the Aquin Bulldogs are Lizzy 
11Hauser, Elayna Erdmier, Morgan Reining, Leah Hauser, Maddy Van 
12Hamme, Sophie Brunner, Haley Chang, Aubrey Chang, Hailey 
13Truman, Ellen Brunner, Samantha Bender, Kaitlyn Doty, 
14Elisabeth Klueg, and Katie Stykel; the team's head coach is 
15Jeff Curry and the assistant coaches are Doral Reining, John 
16Scibona, and Brad Sloan; the team's statistician is Ed 
17Pitterle; and

  
 
18    WHEREAS, The members of the Aquin Bulldogs serve as models 
19of hard work, integrity, and dedication for the people of the 
20State of Illinois; therefore, be it
  
 
21    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE

1NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
2we congratulate the members of the Aquin Bulldogs girls 
3basketball team on the occasion of winning the IHSA Class 1A 
4State tournament and wish them continued success and happiness 
5in the future; and be it further
  
 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to the Aquin Bulldogs as a symbol of our esteem and
