HOUSE RESOLUTION


 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are pleased to congratulate LIN-MAR Motors in 
4Morton Grove on being named the business of the year by the 
5Morton Grove Chamber of Commerce and Industry; and

 
6    WHEREAS, LIN-MAR Motors was started by Wally Lundin and has 
7become a one-stop automotive service business, taking care of 
8the needs of car owners in the Morton Grove area; and

 
9    WHEREAS, Wally's son, Ron Lundin is the third generation 
10involved in the family business, along with Ron Jr. and Tony; 
11and

 

12    WHEREAS, In 2004, LIN-MAR Motors was also named the 
13business of the year by the Morton Grove Chamber of Commerce 
14and Industry; Ron  recently received the Order of Towman from 
15American Towman magazine; the award is presented to a towing 
16professional for his dedication to the towing trade and the 
17community he serves; and

 
18    WHEREAS, LIN-MAR recently moved to a new location, a 68,000 
19square foot, state-of-the-art auto service facility; 
20therefore, be it

1    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
2NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
3we congratulate LIN-MAR Motors owner Ron Lundin and his staff 
4on fifty-plus years of service and wish them the best for the 
5future; and be it further

 
6    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
7presented to LIN-MAR Motors owner Ron Lundin as a symbol of our 
8respect.
