| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 | | Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Rose |
| 4 | | Becker, who recently passed away; and

| 5 | | WHEREAS, She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel; |
| 6 | | and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Rose Becker is survived by her daughters, Rita |
| 8 | | (State Representative Sidney) Mathias and Ilene Becker; she was |
| 9 | | the adored Bubby of Rabbi Elliot (Shira) and Rabbi Scott |
| 10 | | (Ilana) Mathias; and she was the proud great-grandmother of |
| 11 | | Binyamin, Yonason, Yehuda, Aviva, Gila, and Batya; therefore, |
| 12 | | be it

| 13 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 14 | | NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 15 | | we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of |
| 16 | | Rose Becker; and be it further

| 17 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 18 | | presented to the family of Rose Becker as a symbol of our |
| 19 | | sincere sympathy.
