| 4 | | Flynn of Chicago, who recently passed away; and

| 5 | | WHEREAS, He was a graduate of Leo High School and Marquette |
| 6 | | University and began his career as an accountant; and

| 7 | | WHEREAS, He began a 15-year stint with Waste Management in |
| 8 | | 1972, holding positions that included chief financial officer, |
| 9 | | senior vice president, and director; in 1987, he and 2 other |
| 10 | | former Waste Management executives acquired controlling |
| 11 | | interest in the video rental business Blockbuster; he founded |
| 12 | | LKQ Corporation in 1998; the $2.8 billion recycled auto parts |
| 13 | | business, is named for the industry term "like, kind and |
| 14 | | quality"; and he was the major shareholder of Emerald Casino; |

| 16 | | WHEREAS, He was among a dedicated cadre of alumni whose |
| 17 | | support has been key to the survival of Leo High School, a |
| 18 | | Catholic school on the Southside of Chicago; and

| 19 | | WHEREAS, Donald Flynn was the beloved husband and best |
| 20 | | friend of Beverly; the dear father of Kevin (Susan), Brian |
| 21 | | (Michelle), and Dereck Millington, who was like a son; the dear |
