| 3 | | during the 2012 session of the 97th General Assembly; |

| 5 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 6 | | NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 7 | | if gubernatorial action results in additional funding emerging |
| 8 | | during the approval of the fiscal year 2013 State budget, the |
| 9 | | General Assembly's first funding priority will be to restore |
| 10 | | adequate funding levels to general State aid in order to |
| 11 | | provide a better education for students in this State.
