HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are saddened to  learn of the death of
Beverly 
4Turner, who passed away on August 6, 2012; and
  
 
5    WHEREAS, Beverly Turner was born on March 25, 1955; her 
6parents were Mack Williams and Jeanette Glover; she married 
7Ollie Turner in 1985; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Beverly Turner was a graduate of DuSable High 
9School; and
  
 
10    WHEREAS, Beverly Turner served her country with pride as a 
11telecommunication center operator in the United States Army; 
12and
  
 
13    WHEREAS, Beverly Turner received Jesus Christ as her Savior 
14and attended Christ Outreach Temple, where she met her future 
15husband; and
  
 
16    WHEREAS, Beverly Turner is preceded in death by her father, 
17Mack Williams; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Beverly Turner is survived by her husband, Pastor 
19Ollie Turner; her children, Brian Ollie Turner and Tamara

1Monique Turner; her mother, Jeanette Glover; her siblings, Paul 
2Glover, Barbara Freeman, Chiquita Page, Lawrence Sanders, 
3Dennis Sanders, Cynthia Taylor, Spring Edwards, Lisa Jones, 
4Christopher Sanders, Maurice Sanders, and Michelle King; and 
5her many nephews, nieces, other family members, and friends; 
6therefore, be it
  
 
7    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
8NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
9we mourn, along with her family and friends, the passing of 
10Beverly Turner; and be it further
  
 
11    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 
12presented to the family of Beverly Turner as an expression of 
13our sympathy.
