HOUSE RESOLUTION

  
 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 
3Representatives are pleased to congratulate Helen Schultz of 
4East Dundee on the occasion of her 100th birthday on September 
529, 2012; and
  
 
6    WHEREAS, Helen Schultz was born on September 29, 1912; she 
7attended Lakeview High School in Chicago; and
  
 
8    WHEREAS, Helen Schultz has volunteered and helped with 
9fundraising for many organizations related to children, 
10including the Hull House in Chicago; she has also served as a 
11leader and officer for the Brownies, Girl Scouts, and Cub 
12Scouts; and

  
 
13    WHEREAS, Helen Schultz enjoys gardening, traveling, and 
14sailing; she also believes her secrets to longevity are 
15"everything in moderation, and lots of time in the fresh air"; 
16therefore, be it
  
 
17    RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 
18NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 
19we congratulate Helen Schultz on her life of over 100 years and 
20wish her many more years of continued health; and be it further
