| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of |
| 3 | | Representatives wish to congratulate Representative Franco |
| 4 | | Coladipietro on his distinguished service to Illinois' |
| 5 | | Legislative District 45 and the people of the State of |
| 6 | | Illinois; and
|
| 7 | | WHEREAS, Representative Coladipietro has served in the |
| 8 | | Illinois House with honor and distinction; and
|
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Representative Coladipietro was born on June 13, |
| 10 | | 1968; he earned his bachelor's degree in finance from Northern |
| 11 | | Illinois University in 1990 and his Juris Doctorate from the |
| 12 | | John Marshall Law School in 1993; and
|
| 13 | | WHEREAS, Representative Coladipietro was admitted to the |
| 14 | | Illinois Bar Association in 1993 and the New York Bar |
| 15 | | Association in 1996; and
|
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Representative Coladipietro joined the law firm |
| 17 | | of Amari & Locallo in 1995; he is currently the managing |
| 18 | | partner of the firm's Bloomingdale office; and |
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Representative Coladipietro is married to his |
| 20 | | wife, Amy, and has a son, Joey, and a daughter, Alyssa; and
|

| 1 | | WHEREAS, Representative Coladipietro was first elected to |
| 2 | | the Illinois House in 2007; he has subsequently been re-elected |
| 3 | | twice, representing the people of the DuPage County communities |
| 4 | | of Addison, Bloomingdale, Carol Stream, Glen Ellyn, Glendale |
| 5 | | Heights, Itasca, Medinah, Roselle, Wheaton, and Winfield; and
|
| 6 | | WHEREAS, Representative Coladipietro has served with |
| 7 | | distinction on the Financial Institutions committee as the |
| 8 | | Republican Spokesperson; he has also served on the Legislative |
| 9 | | Ethics committee, the International Trade & Commerce |
| 10 | | committee, the Business Occupational Licenses committee, the |
| 11 | | Public Utilities committee, the Aging committee, the Homeland |
| 12 | | Security and Emergency Preparedness committee, the |
| 13 | | Judiciary-Civil Law committee, the Least Cost Power |
| 14 | | Procurement committee, the Prison Reform committee, the |
| 15 | | Registration and Regulation committee, and the Bio-Technology |
| 16 | | committee; and |
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Representative Coladipietro is an avid runner of |
| 18 | | 5K races and has promoted healthy lifestyle initiatives in his |
| 19 | | legislative district; and
|
| 20 | | WHEREAS, Representative Coladipietro has been a fierce |
| 21 | | advocate for public safety issues and was the chief sponsor of |
| 22 | | House Bill 975 of the 95th General Assembly, which provides for |
|

| 1 | | victims of crimes to be notified when prisoners are released |
| 2 | | from incarceration; the bill received unanimous House and |
| 3 | | Senate support and was signed into law as Public Act 95-0317; |

| 5 | | WHEREAS, Representative Coladipietro played an important |
| 6 | | role in the impeachment of former Governor Rod Blagojevich by |
| 7 | | serving as a co-sponsor of the resolution that created the |
| 8 | | Special Investigative Committee to investigate the conduct of |
| 9 | | the former governor and as a co-sponsor of the resolution to |
| 10 | | impeach Rod Blagojevich; and |
| 11 | | WHEREAS, During his 6-year tenure in the Illinois House, |
| 12 | | Representative Coladipietro served as the Chief House Sponsor |
| 13 | | of several other meaningful Public Acts that have benefited the |
| 14 | | constituents of District 45 and the people of the State of |
| 15 | | Illinois; and |
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Representative Coladipietro has made other |
| 17 | | innumerable contributions to the public good through his |
| 18 | | generous contributions to the Bloomingdale Chamber of Commerce |
| 19 | | Scholarship Fund and the "50 Men Who Cook" annual fundraiser, |
| 20 | | and through his extensive civic and volunteer involvement and |
| 21 | | service on the Boards of Directors for the DuPage County Area |
| 22 | | Project, Inc., the Glen Oaks Hospital Foundation, and as an |
| 23 | | active member of the Bloomingdale, Carol Stream, Roselle, |
|

| 1 | | Glendale Heights, and Wheaton Chambers of Commerce; and |
| 2 | | WHEREAS, Representative Coladipietro has received numerous |
| 3 | | awards and recognitions, including the Business Ledger's |
| 4 | | Today's Young Executive Award, the Law Bulletin Publishing |
| 5 | | Company's Top Forty Lawyers Under Forty Award, the Illinois Bar |
| 6 | | Association's Young Lawyer of the Year, the Bloomingdale |
| 7 | | Chamber of Commerce's Rookie of the Year, the John Marshall Law |
| 8 | | School Alumni Distinguished Service Award, the DuPage County |
| 9 | | Friend of Agriculture Award, and the Illinois Bar Association's |
| 10 | | Board of Governors and Community Service Awards; therefore, be |
| 11 | | it
|
| 12 | | RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE |
| 13 | | NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that |
| 14 | | we wish Representative Coladipietro all the best in his future |
| 15 | | endeavors and congratulate him on a job well done in the |
| 16 | | General Assembly; and be it further

| 17 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be |
| 18 | | presented to Representative Coladipietro, his wife, and his |
| 19 | | children as an expression of our esteem and respect for our |
| 20 | | colleague and friend.
