| 2 | | Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, |
| 3 | | represented in the General Assembly:

| 4 | | Section 5. The Illinois Drainage Code is amended by |
| 5 | | changing Section 3-2 as follows:
|
| 6 | | (70 ILCS 605/3-2) (from Ch. 42, par. 3-2)

| 7 | | Sec. 3-2. Names of
districts. A district which is organized |
| 8 | | as an outlet drainage district shall
include the
the term |
| 9 | | "outlet drainage district" in its name. A district which

| 10 | | maintains levees shall include the term "drainage and levee |
| 11 | | district" in
its name. A district which is organized as a |
| 12 | | mutual drainage district shall
include the term "mutual |
| 13 | | drainage district" in its name, and if such a
district also |
| 14 | | maintains levees it shall include the term "mutual drainage
and |
| 15 | | levee district" in its name. Any other district shall include |
| 16 | | the term
"drainage district" in its name. |
