| 2 | | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1226 on page 3, |
| 3 | | line 23, after "students", by inserting ", and no less than 50% |
| 4 | | of the total number of enrollment positions and no less than |
| 5 | | 50% of the total number of special education enrollment |
| 6 | | positions in each incoming class must be reserved for students |
| 7 | | who live within proximity to the school. Proximity must be |
| 8 | | defined as the currently established attendance boundaries of |
| 9 | | the following public elementary schools: Cassell, Mount |
| 10 | | Greenwood, Clissold, Sutherland, and Kellogg or any other |
| 11 | | public elementary school subsequently established within the |
| 12 | | attendance boundaries of any of these schools".
