| 2 | | AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1312 as follows:

| 3 | | on page 7, line 7, by replacing "may" with "shall"; and
|
| 4 | | on page 8, line 3, by replacing "may" with "shall"; and
|
| 5 | | on page 9, immediately below line 2, by inserting the |
| 6 | | following:
|
| 7 | | "(c) The Department may include the following criteria in |
| 8 | | every request for proposal cost evaluation: (i) the total |
| 9 | | project cost, (ii) the construction costs, and (iii) the time |
| 10 | | of completion. The Department may include any additional |
| 11 | | relevant technical evaluation factors it deems necessary for |
| 12 | | proper selection. The total project cost criteria weighing |
| 13 | | factor shall be 25%."; and
