AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1360




2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1360, AS AMENDED, 
3by replacing everything after the enacting clause with the 
4following:

 
 
5    "Section 5. The Illinois Vehicle Code is amended  by adding 
6Section 3-696 as follows:
 
7    (625 ILCS 5/3-696 new)
8    Sec. 3-696. Corporate-sponsored license plate study. The 
9Secretary of State shall complete a feasibility study for the 
10implementation of a program for corporate sponsored license 
11plates. The study shall include, but not be limited to, 
12findings on how to maximize profits to the State, how to 
13provide for a discounted registration fee for Illinois 
14residents who display a corporate-sponsored license plate; 
15public interest in such a program; and the cost to the State 
16for implementation of such a program.  The Secretary of State

1shall report the findings of the feasibility study to the 
2General Assembly no later than January 1, 2012. 


 
3    Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon 
4becoming law.".
