AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1387 




2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1387 as follows:

 
3    "Section 5. The Wildlife Code is amended  by adding Section 
43.1-6 as follows:
 
5    (520 ILCS 5/3.1-6 new)
6    Sec. 3.1-6. Non-resident college student hunting program.
7    (a) A student who is not a resident of Illinois may 
8purchase a non-resident deer hunting permit and a wild turkey 
9hunting permit at the resident of Illinois hunting price if 
10that student:
11        (1) is currently enrolled as a full-time student at an 
12    accredited post-secondary educational institution in the 
13    State, with 12 credits or more considered full-time; 
14        (2) is 18 to 25 years of age; and 
15        (3) provides a valid, current post-secondary 
16    educational institutional identification card.

1    (b) The provisions of this Section are subject to 
2modification by administrative rule. 
 

3    Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect January 
41, 2012.".
