AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1490




2    AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 1490 by replacing 
3everything after the enacting clause with the following:

 
4    "Section 5. The Covering ALL KIDS Health Insurance  Act is 
5amended  by adding Section 46 as follows:
 
6    (215 ILCS 170/46 new)
7    Sec. 46. Program information; undocumented immigrant 
8children. The Department shall report to the General Assembly 
9no later than January 31 of each year beginning in 2012, all of 
10the following information:
11        (1) the number of undocumented immigrant children 
12    enrolled in the Program for the previous fiscal year;
13        (2) with regard to undocumented immigrant children 
14    enrolled in the Covering ALL KIDS Health Insurance Program 
15    and the Children's Health Insurance Program (either 
16    through Title XIX or Title XXI of the federal Social

1    Security Act), the number of undocumented immigrant 
2    children whose household income was at or between 0% and 
3    133% of the federal poverty level as determined by the 
4    Department; and
5        (3) with regard to undocumented immigrant children 
6    enrolled in the Covering ALL KIDS Health Insurance Program 
7    and the Children's Health Insurance Program (either 
8    through Title XIX or Title XXI of the federal Social 
9    Security Act), the number of undocumented immigrant 
10    children whose household income was at or between 134% and 
11    300% of the federal poverty level as determined by the 
12    Department.
 

13    Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon 
14becoming law.".
